The Principality of Baudrix, a demesne of the Bovic Empire of the Natopian Nation, is located on the continent of Cibola. With a land area of XXXXXX square kilometers, Baudrix has a population of 56,702,050 as of the 1727 AN census. The demesne serves as the ancestral homeland of the Alexandrian people and was the center of the former Empire of the Alexandrians on the planet Micras. Paine City, named after the Natopian imperial dynasty House of Waffel-Paine, is the capital and largest city of Baudrix.

Baudrix is a constitutional monarchy within the Bovic Empire. The Empress of the Natopians is the head of state, represented by the Viceroy, a hereditary Prince of Baudrix, who performs ceremonial duties and acts as a link between the demesnial and imperial governments. The First Consul is the head of government and is usually the leader of the majority party or coalition in the Parliament of Baudrix. The unicameral Parliament, elected through proportional representation, is responsible for enacting laws and overseeing the government.

As a member of the Most Serene Union of Dos Gardenias, a demesne union promoting economic cooperation and cultural exchange, Baudrix works closely with other member states on trade, foreign policy, and cultural matters. The demesne has a diverse population, with Alexandrians constituting the majority, and Nats and Martino being widely spoken alongside the Alexandrian language. Alexandrian Nazarenism and Bovinism are the predominant religions.

Baudrix's economy is driven by a robust manufacturing sector, particularly in textiles, with the production of olive-drab denim coveralls supplied to the Western Natopian Demesnial Forces and sold in the civilian market on Cibola. The demesne also has a thriving high-tech industry, with investments in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and renewable energy. Agriculture remains a significant contributor to the economy, with modern techniques employed to maximize yields and ensure sustainability. Tourism is another key economic driver, with Baudrix's landscapes, history, and culture attracting visitors from across Natopia and beyond.

Has a notable number of textile manufacturers subsidised by the Western Natopian government for the bulk supply of olive-drab denim coveralls to the Western Natopian Demesnial Forces. Surplus production is routinely dumped into the civilian market on Cibola at below cost price.

The province of Baudrix is a province of the Empire of the Alexandrians. It is bordered by the province of Valenciennes to its west and north, Stormark to the south and ocean to the east.

Baudrix, together with the province of Valenciennes, comprises what is commonly called “mainland Alexandria”. The capital of Baudrix is the city of Geneva, which is also the capital of the Empire.

Government

Baudrix is one of the three provinces of the Empire (others are Puerto Nuevo and Rio Grande) which lack an official provincial government. Baudrix does not have an appointed viceroy at the moment, but the official title of the viceroy is Grand Duke of Baudrix.

Efforts to form a provincial government have been made by residents like the Emperor and Jose Frias, but they have not come to fruition.
