Dozan Bovic Church

The Dozan Bovic Church, originally known as the Bovinist Church, is the largest Bovic church, with millions of adherents worldwide. The Church was founded in 1530, and reorganized in 1539. The Church of Caputia is considered a sister-church.

Hierarchy

The Pentheros is the leader of the church and appoints all Metrobosarchs and Bosarchs. Metrobosarchs lead Eparchies. There are Four Eparchies, plus the Eparchy of Lyrica and the Pentheral Eparchy. Bosarchs lead local communities based in cathedrals, missions, temples, etc. The Pentheros is elected by a council of the Metrobosarchs. The Pentheros is also the temporal ruler of Athlon.

Benacian Bovic Church of the Capric Rite

The Capric rite is a modified set of Bovic rituals that were permitted by Pentheral Bull for those Bovics living in southern Benacia. Instead of cow milk or butter, those living in Malarboria, Modan, Moda-Malarboria, and now Drak-Modan are able to use goat milk. A Patriarch in Drakorda leads this church, allowing for special Benacian flavor and local control. The church is in full communion with the Pentheros in Doza. The Benacian Bovic Church also borrows from the Elijahn Rite, placing special veneration on Kaiser Saint Elijah, teaching Benacian Bovics of the special events in the Bovic church that happened in Shireroth (the construction of the Temple of the Butter Cow in Smjorkyr, the first Bovic church outside Natopia; the assassination of Nathan in Eliria, allowing him to return in butter-form; the sculpting of the Butter Bull in Smjorkyr; the conversion of some of the Ayreon-Kalirion family to Bovinism and their central roles in Shireroth and Bovic legend;
