Organisation

A cavalry recruitment poster from 1708 AN reminding every Constancian that it is their ultimate duty to ride out into the burning sands of Eura so as to face whatever awaits them.

In general terms each division of the respective corps of the Constancian Army consists of a regimental cadre (Syntagma) with the divisions being brought up to wartime strength by the mobilisation of the requisite number of Home Guard personnel with a similar method being relied upon to crew and bring back into service mothballed naval vessels. This means that the ICAF can, with relative ease, transfer divisions currently maintained at a high readiness state to a Trans-Euran Command formation from the Home Guard whilst 1st and 2nd Line reservists are called forward to assignment to manpower deployment pools.
