The CBRN Brigade (1st Independent Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Countermeasures Brigade) is a brigade-strength unit of the Imperial Constancian Army, but is considered an asset of the Imperial Constancian Armed Forces. Administratively it is therefore placed under the Ópla Ypostírixis Máchis (Combat Support Arm) of the Army whilst it is operationally attached to the Imperial General Staff.

In light of the Antakian Civil War and its subsequent nuclear exchange impacting the Antakian cities of Antakşehir and Kwa-Pati in 12.XII.1706 AN, and the subsequent Operation Landslide, the Brigade was activated to assist and provide technical assistance to the Trans-Euran Command and the Imperial Constancian Government.

History

An Autokratorial Decree bearing date at Nirytos House, Vey, on 18.XI.1659, 39th year of the Basileus' Reign, created a Project Management Office within the Ministry of Defense, and ordered the Director thereof of begin planning and development on the following contingency measures:

A subsequent Autokratorial Decree bearing date at Nirytos House, Vey, on 25.XIII.1666, 46th year of the Basileus' Reign, included the contingency measures

Funding for these projects were sourced from the Prosgeiosi Basileus, by command of the Basileus Petros III, at the behest of the Autokrator of Constancia.

In 1714 AN the Brigade was ordered by Trans-Euran Command to acquire two hundred Rz.Kfz 1714 Razkampfwagen for organic force mobility.
