The 2026 Bakuya Rally marked a watershed moment in the history of the fictional motorsport calendar, serving not only as the second edition of this prestigious event but also as the ultimate test of endurance in the heart of Çakaristan. From July 16 to 30, 2026, drivers from various nations—ranging from Sanama and Sanpantul to Batavia and the Order of the Holy Lakes—braved a route that extended far beyond the boundaries of conventional rallying.
Unlike standard rallies, where asphalt and organized roads are the norm, the Bakuya Rally led participants deep into the rugged wilderness. The course cut directly through the iconic and treacherous Thul Marusthal, a desert region where scorching heat and shifting dunes posed a constant threat, and also traversed the vast, inhospitable steppes of Rečnozemlja. Built around a prologue and twelve grueling stages, the rally demanded not only technical perfection from the vehicles—ranging from specialized rally cars and motorcycles to heavy-duty trucks—but also extraordinary mental resilience from the drivers.
The 2026 edition was defined by an intense three-way battle. In the car category, Pjetro Manetti (Sanama), driving his Tigris Supra RS, secured victory after a thrilling finale against the Sanpantul favorite, Ota Ichiyo. On two wheels, Ufuk Kaya (Sanpantul) reigned supreme as the desert king, while in the truck class, Tsuji Kobo (Sanpantul) left the heavy machinery of the rest of the field in his wake. The rally was a stage for dramatic turnarounds, mechanical mishaps during the Marathon stage, and a victory earned amidst mud, rocks, and the tall grass of the erg.
