The National Monument of Çakaristan or simply the National Monument is a construction in memory of the victims of the Sylvanian National Awakening. Also later victims of wartime violence suffered for the Empire. A fire is kept alight, in permanent remembrance of the victims.

Annually, on the evening before Independence Day, an official commemoration is held at the monument. It is customary for the honoured guests of a state visit to come and lay a wreath at the memorial.

The monument is located in a park, Nationpark, near the Palace of the Nation, which houses the Çakari Congress. The monument is a national symbol.
