Dyre Islands
The Dyre Islands of Dyre Isles are a chain of islands off the southeastern coast of Apollonia. They were named for the Dyre Straits, along which the islands lay. The name was coined by Austi Scot. History
Founding history
When Austi Scot founded the nation of Herrin. Herrin's main city, Bomburg, functioned as a micronational resort, casino and roleplaying community. It engaged people to invest in it and develop portions in order to obtain prestige and profits. The economic simulation of the island was quite successful for a time before the volcano exploded and destroyed it. Which, in actuality, was more roleplaying on behalf of Austi Scot, who had decided to leave micronations and deleted the forums in the process. The state and settlement were later rebuilt as Herrinova and New Bomburg respectively. The islands were known for having a mixture of populations from different corners of Micras. The only current remnant being the island of Rulak.
Çakaristan
Between 1688 and 1692, the islands were brought under the flag of Çakaristan, in the period called First Çakari Era. Since then, the islands have been incorporated into two different states: Korhalistan and Sylfystan. The islands in the Azure Sea form the Chakla Tuife.
