The 1761 Çakaristan elections were the fifteenth Congressional elections since the restoration of the Çakar Empire. These elections were marked by a significant geopolitical shift: three states—Beneluccas, Lija, and Sri Pashana—were no longer part of the Empire, leading to a redistribution of seats in the Majlis al-Nuwaab.
Despite the loss of territory, the elections resulted in a massive surge for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which capitalized on nationalist sentiment and administrative reforms. The NDC saw its support base expand dramatically across the remaining states, fundamentally altering the political landscape of Çakaristan.
Majlis al-Shuyukh
One third of the Majlis al-Shuyukh is elected every two Norton years. The term of a Shuyukh is six Norton years. A brief overview of the distribution of seats by party:

Majlis al-Nuwaab
Every four Norton years, the entire Majlis al-Nuwaab is elected. The People's National Congress dissolved its parliamentary group and did not contest these elections. An overview of the distribution of seats after the elections:
