Dōhō Broadcasting System (道宝放送, Dōhō Hōsō, Phineaner: Sistem Penyiaran Dōhō; Taesongean: 도보방송; Hanja: 道宝放送; RR: Dobo Bangsong; MR: Tobo Pangsong; abbreviated to DBS) is a commercial radio and television broadcaster in Phinbella, and was also one of the leading Phinbellan television and radio broadcasters covering the Free area of the Federation before becoming a national broadcaster. It is owned and operated by the IVM Communications Group, through its subsidiary The Dōhō Press, Inc. It is headquartered at the Mulong Exchange Intermicronational Financial District located in Seberang Peninjau, Negara Awan. DBS is one of seven private broadcasters based in Negara Awan since of RP 2616. Its flagship terrestrial television station is DBS TV, broadcast as channel 16 for analogue, digital and cable with the call sign TQSQ-DTV.

Established on January 22, -36BP as a radio station, DBS is one of the four largest private broadcasters in Phinbella. It operates its main television channel and also owns and operates 23 regional stations throughout Phinbella under the same network name. DBS also operates 2 radio networks namely DBS Radio and DBS FM, as well as operating 3 satellite televisions and 3 premium televisions. The DBS premium television channels are known as "CS DBS One" ("DBS 471"—sports/variety shows, including all football games), "CS DBS Two" ("DBS 473"—drama/anime, including all baseball games), and "CS DBS Next" ("DBS CSHD"—live premium shows) (called together as "CS DBS OneTwoNext"), all available in high-definition. DBS also has an international satellite network known as DBS International which is available in the Keltia, eastern Apollonia and the Green in eastern Eura, and will be expanded to the northern part of Corum by 1738 AN.

DBS is the broadcasting station with the most diversified operations in the Phinbellan radio and TV broadcasting industry, the broadcaster's income is higher than that of the departments outside the main business, excluding the departments within the IVM company. In addition, DBS is one of the private broadcasters in Phinbella as well as in the Free area of the Federation that broadcasts and produces the best locally made drama and animation series specifically for television apart from SBS, ARF and THB.

Headquarters and offices

Dōhō Broadcasting System is headquartered in a tower in the Mulong Exchange Intermicronational Financial District, a newly completed international financial district located on Seberang Peninjau, Negara Awan. DBS has just moved its headquarters since April RP 2619. In addition, the DBS bureau office for the Keiki region is located at Maple Drive, Danville, Tri-State Area, while the DBS bureau office for the dependent region is located at Shalqar Institute Park, Iñderaqonır, Oystra Stoorskerið. In addition to the headquarters, bureau offices and 23 regional stations, commercial broadcasting station Phinbellan also has 12 bureau offices in other parts of the world in locations in countries such as Forajasaki and Plazas de Irian for the Phineonesian Confederation, as well as in Hurmu, Desaremix, Çakaristan, Nouvelle Alexandrie, Kunapura, Craitland, New Batavia, Krasnovlac and Daau.

History

Radio

The Dōhō Press is one of the leading Inter-Phinbellan or Phineonesian newspapers where it started publishing in -110BP. In April -38BP, The Dōhō Press obtained a radio broadcasting license. After acquiring it, The Dōhō Press began preparing for broadcasting and bought a studio in one of the buildings in Puang Lieh District, Tampines to be used as a radio station. And it was at that time that The Dōhō Press also had its bureau office in the building. The Dōhō Press launched its first radio broadcast signal on January 22, -36BP with the branding Dōhō Broadcasting System and the call sign TQSQ on the frequency of AM 900 kHz with a power of 20 kilowatts, where it was transmitted from its transmitter stations in Tampines and Bandar Baru Fatin. DBS started as the third non-government commercial broadcaster in the Phinbella region after ARF and TBS. On September 18, -33BP, DBS was granted a license by the state and local governments that allowed it to operate regional stations in major cities throughout the Phinbella region such as San Fransokyo, Kampung Raja, Politama, Providenciales, Hsinhōdokián and Pondok Chabai, and established a broadcasting network that connecting several cities including Tampines and Bandar Baru Fatin.

Early stages of the television

In -26BP, the colonial-era Posts and Telecommunications Authority based in Tampines held a "Bid for Allocation of Frequency for Television Broadcasting" where the bid was to issue a television broadcasting license to establish several new television channels in the city of Tampines or Gýordonz, five of which were private public television stations that placed on channels 6, 9, 11, 13 and 16. Around the construction of a public private station, The Dōhō Press with its radio station, Radio Dōhō is the one that has submitted a bid in the licensing of two new television channels under the network name "Dōhō Television" (道宝テレビジョン, Dōhō Terebijon). Apart from The Dōhō Press and Radio Dōhō, there was also fierce competition launched from newspapers, missionaries, film companies and other circles, including two private radio stations in Tampines at the time, The Maeil Times (later owned channel 11 as Territorial Broadcasting System) was also not spared from the fierce competition that grabbed one of the five channels. On July 15, -25BP, The Dōhō Press and Radio Dōhō won the bid and obtained the television broadcasting license for channel 16.

After The Dōhō Press obtained the license, they started planning to build a new station in one of the neighborhoods in Melekeok, Gýordonz, but the plan ended in failure. Finally, facilities for television broadcasting were secured, and channel 16 was launched from its first headquarters in a neighborhood known as Fiča i Feđja. After that, Dōhō Broadcasting System Inc. was founded on the twelfth anniversary of its radio broadcast in -24BP, where the company combined radio and television broadcasting, and at that time the company was founded by Hadji Masumin Pangeran Tahir, president of The Dōhō Press, and a Radio Dōhō broadcaster, Iwakuni Takehara.

On December 14, -23BP, Dōhō Television began trial broadcasts. On January 21, -22BP, Dōhō Television launched a TV broadcast under the name DBS TV (call sign: TQAC-TV, output: 4 kW), where it began broadcasting live as a pilot program known as the Inter-Phinbellan Winter-Art Festival, and the following day on January 22, DBS TV officially started broadcasting and broadcast from Melekeok. Initially, the channel ran for almost six hours a day from 17:00 to 22:45 NAT depending largely on television series produced mainly abroad such as from several countries in Apollonia, Benacia and Tapfer. Between -23BP and -20BP, DBS reached a joint agreement with 12 commercial stations in major cities including Bandar Baru Fatin, Danville, Kota Hilir, San Fransokyo, Politama, Providenciales, Hsinhōdokián, Kampung Raja, Gimmelschtump, Pondok Chabai, Hōkø and Syōnan Archipelago, and began broadcasting TV from its parent broadcast through its 13 affiliated or regional stations to their territories and states (up to the entire country). And since then, DBS established its own television network named DBS Television Network which was founded in -19BP. And in the next period, DBS also established other regional stations. DBS began broadcasting its flagship news programme, the DBS News Show on October 15, -21BP. On July 17, -18BP, FM radio was launched, and DBS took over a recording company, Warna Music.

DBS also owns and operates 23 regional broadcasting stations as well as six small bureaus covering the entire Free Area of the Federation including two special administrative territories and three dependent territories. Regional DBS stations also have their own local programming. Stations are listed mostly in Phinbellan territorial order, with exceptions for Capital Area, Soccsksargen-Koitchhi State, Keiki region (except Nabor Klafterschaft and Springwind Islands), Phinbellan Maritime Territories (except Providenciales) and Politama-Islands of Dong Ping, which form single wide broadcasting markets respectively. Only Tanah Baharu and Oriental Taemhwan do not have regional DBS stations, and DBS established bureaus in those two regions, and news gatherings are also provided by those bureaus.
