Manschūhōria (Sangunese: 満州報国, translit.: Manshūhōkoku?, Phineaner: Manshyūhōria; Jawi: منشوهوريا), officially as the Territory and State of Manschūhōria (Phineaner: Wilayah dan Negeri Manshyūhōria) or also very popularally known as the State of Manschūhōria or Manschūhōria State (Phineaner: Negeri Manshyūhōria) is a territory of Phinbella and one of the most densely populated subdivisions of the country, it is located on the southeast coast of the Mattimeo peninsula in the Cyber-Island Chain. It is one of the thirteen territories of the federated states of Phinbella. On 1 September RP 2619, this territory will exist as a result of separation from the Phinbellan Unincorporated Territory after approximately seven years of being part of the Phinbellan Unincorporated Territory. Manschūhōria borders the territory of Drusselstein to the southwest, Oriental Hispanioéire Taemhwan district of Tsunadenai to the northeast, the Forajasakian state of Tabui to the northeast and the state of Sikin to the west. Manschūhōria also have maritime borders throught the Ïeu'ryían Strait which separates the state of Shintaro to the east, the district of the Ssamaritan Islands to the south and the territory of the Straits Settlements to the southeast. The territory has an area of 6,214 square kilometers (2,399 sq mi), and has a population of 4,428,190 people as of RP 2619, with a population density of 710 people per square kilometer (1,800 per square mile). This territory made Hsinhōdokián as the administrative center of the territory as well as the capital and largest city in this territory, this territory is divided into fourteen administrative collectivities and one autonomous sub-districts. Other important towns in the territory are Port Weld, Dabang and Tampin. Manschūhōria has a unique subarctic climate, has a diverse Manschūhōrian-Taemhwanian mixed rainforest and the territory's landscape is dominated by the mountain range that belongs to the Tak Bai Mountains that stretch from Drusselstein to the state of Tabui, which almost reaches the sea. Mount Lawit which is located on the northwest side of this territory, is the highest point in the territory.

This territory is the homeland of the multiracial Manschūhōrian people as well as the Hondonese or Cadjiyèan people who immigrated to this region, Manschūhōria was established as a confederation consisting of several customary domain territories, and the customary domain territories was united into an entity called the Raj of Manschūhōria was established in -40BP before joining the Phinbellan provisional government in RP 2600 and becoming part of the Phinbellan Unincorporated Territory since RP 2613. Actually, this territory are ruled by the Rajah as also was the governor of the territory, and the Rajahs was an absolute monarchy. The Hondonese people have long been a minority in the territory, with the largest ethnic group in the region being the Manschūhōrian Phineaners and Taemhwanian Phineaners, a two sub-group of the Phineaners with their own culture. The Sangunese population in Manschūhōria increased rapidly in the period before and during the provisional government, most of which were land-poor settler groups from the nearby atoll clusters and islands who migrated and were placed on new land to farm and thus formed new communities in the territory this. These movements gave rise to new settlements and communities throughout the region, forming the basis for a diverse demographic landscape. A notable phenomenon in the history of Manschūhōria is the rapid influx by RP 2619, more than five hundred thousand Sangunese have settled in Manschūhōria and the growth of the Sangunese population is evidence of the attractiveness of the region as a land of promise and potential. The population of Jingdaoese and Taesongeans in this territory also increased during this period but slowly; there are also Yapreayans, Jews, Taemhwanians, Rusyns, and other minority groups including Tabuese, Bajau Samah and others. The Rusyn Customary Territory in the southeastern part of the territory is ruled by Tengku Besar Rusyn under a slightly different autonomous system in recognition of the different traditions there.

Nicknamed the "Eurphineonesian Concorda State" (Phineaner: Negeri Kerukunan Eurphineonesia), this territory is culturally, linguistically, religiously and ethnically diverse, the Manschūhōrian culture and traditions are very different compared to the cultures of other territories throughout Phinbella, including the Phineaner culture which is also different; This is reflected in the cuisine and art that have Manschūhōrian characteristics still visible today, the own distinct and unique Manschūhōrian Phineaner dialect and also a harmony language which is Manschūhōrian Kyowa-go which is also unique, both of these languages are incomprehensible even to some native speakers of the standard Phineaner and also Phinbellan Sangunese speakers and Taemhwanian Sangunese speakers. The coexistence of these various ethnic groups has given birth to a dynamic and harmonious cultural mosaic. The people of Manschūhōria celebrate their diversity, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. Cultural exchange is a hallmark of the region, with festivals, traditions and art forms serving as avenues for interaction and cooperation between different communities.

Manschūhōria borders several surrounding areas, including the territory of Drusselstein and Tsunadenai district, as well as the states of Sikin and Tabui. It also has a maritime border with the Straits Settlements and the Ssamaritan Islands district. In the past, Manschūhōrian occupied territory extended beyond the state of Sikin and the Tsunadenai region, all the way to the south of the state of Tabui. Western Manschūhōria was once part of the Raj of Manschūhōria but is now part of the Emirate of Sikin or state of Sikin in Forajasaki.

At the administrative level, the State of Manschūhōria consists of fourteen respective collectivities which is directly known as the colonies or occupied territories (Phineaner: Jajahan Takluk Manschūhōria). The following collectivities or colonies are Hsinhōdokián, Johol, Jeli, Kagayan de Manshūhōkoku, Tampin Rusyn, Ulu Kuril, Teguchi, Inah, Avoyelles, Gunung Pasar, Galas, Pasir Besar, Air Kuning, and Heihe. The division of this administrative area is also a customary region in Manschūhōria, it is similar to Drusselstein with mixed Eldian-Minnan and Germanian influence where the administrative system is divided into luaks or luhaks which is a customary area in Drusselstein itself. Each collectivity or colonies in Manschūhōria has its own customs and culture. Of these fourteen collectivities and colonies there are three groups of colonies in Manschūhōria, the four colonies which are Hsinhōdokián, Johol, Jeli and Heihe have been administered by the four Penghulu Piundangs, thus they are known as the Piundang Principality Colonies. In addition, there are four colonies that are protected under two Piundang Principality Colonies such as Kagayan de Manshūhōkoku which is the protection area of Hsinhōdokián colony, while the colonies of Galas, Pasir Besar, Air Kuning are the protection areas of Johol colony. The small colonies bordering around the Hsinhōdokián colony such as Ulu Kuril, Teguchi, Inah, Avoyelles and Gunung Pasar are collectively known as the Tanah Menjursu Colonies. The Tampin Rusyn colony, also known as the Tampin Rusyn Customary Territory (Phineaner: Wilayah Adat Rusyn Tampin) is autonomous where the population consists of the Manschūhōrian Rusyn community and is administered by the Tengku Besar.

Manschūhōria is one of the territories of the federated states located on the southern coast of the Mattimeo peninsula together with Turku and Hōri, Drusselstein and the Orange Free State. However, Manschūhōria is a newly formed federated territory after Turku and Hōri and Drusselstein. Manschūhōria has an area that exceeds the area of Drusselstein where the total land area of this territory is 6,214 square kilometers (2,399 sq mi). It makes Manschūhōria currently the fourth largest territory of the federated state in Phinbella after Niuē i Taman Lawang (maybe), as well as the second largest territory on the southern coast after Orange Free State. The territory has a coastline of 148.91 kilometers (92.53 miles). Manschūhōria has a total forest coverage of 394,170.982 hectares (974,017.708 acres) including 98,005.81 hectares (242,177.63 acres) of forest land consisting of diverse Manschūhōrian-Taemhwanian mixed rainforest and Tak Bai-Sikin Mountains conifer forest, and another 6,518.24 hectares (16,106.92 acres) of forest plantations. The topography of Manschūhōria is mostly mountainous. The geology of Manschūhōria is characterized by eruptive masses, which form its hills and mountain ranges. Manschūhōria is divided into two broad plains divided by a mountainous spine in the center and west, by two mountain ranges, one of the main mountains in the territory is known as the Tak Bai Mountains which run parallel to the coast. The Tak Bai Mountains that cross the border between this territory with the states of Sikin and Tabui as well as with the territory of Drusselstein have also dominated the landscape of this territory. The coastal areas of the territory espacially in Hsinhōdokián area appear to be more developed, i.e. more metropolitan and have a complex and concentrated road network than the more rural mountainous areas. The Tak Bai Mountains in the west are Jurassic mountain ranges formed by detached sedimentary rock masses.

Mount Lawit which has a height of 1,874 meters (6,148.29 feet) is the highest point in Manschūhōria, where it is located in the collectivity of Heihe.

Manschūhōria has a fairly wide river network where it originates from mountain ranges and inland hills, the main source of water supply in this territory is played by three main rivers, the Heiliayantjiong River which has a length of 208 kilometers, the Kuril River which is 98 kilometers long and the Nenggior River which is 64 kilometers long, where it flows throughout this territory. The Heiliayantjiong-Kuril River basin covers most of the eastern territory of Manschūhōria, while the Nenggior River basin covers a small part of the interior of the territory. The Heiliayantjiong River Basin is the largest river basin in Manschūhōria. The border of Manschūhōria with the territory of Drusselstein and the state of Tabui is marked by rivers, including the Libir and Kerian rivers.

The climate of Manschūhōria is unique because it is located in Phinbella, although the area of this territory is relatively small but has extreme seasonal contrasts, ranging from hot humid, almost tropical in summer to windy and humid, but Arctic cold in winter. This is because it has a diverse climate, such as a large part of this territory, especially in the interior, has a subarctic climate (Köppen climate classification: Dsd), a small part has a subtropical highland climate (Cwc), some coastal areas of this territory have a temperate continental climate (Dwa) which has hot summers and a warm continental climate (Dwb) which has humid summers.

Politics and government

Manschūhōria is a territory of a federated state that has an absolute non-sovereign monarch system in a federal republic, with the title of His Royal Highness the Rajah of Manschūhōria. A ruler is chosen as White Rajah by an electoral college consisting of the leaders of the four principal Piundangs or Principalities and the Council Negeri members, and confirmed by the president of Phinbella to be appointed as the governor of this territory. According to the Special Act of Manschūhōria which has 84 clauses, the Chief who is given the title of Governor of Manschūhōria is appointed by the president of Phinbella from the lineage of White Rajah family in this territory on the condition of "skill, honesty, and loyalty, as well as maintaining the customs of the territory". Thus, the Governor of Manschūhōria is automatically held by the reigning White Rajah of Manschūhōria.

White Rajah of Manschūhōria was elected to his position by the chiefs of the Piundangs colony or the Head of Government of the territory. Only four Piundangs are entitled to vote in the election of Rajah Putih. They are:

  • The Piundang of Hsinhōdokián
  • The Piundang of Jeli
  • The Piundang of Johol
  • The Piundang of Heihe

The Piundang themselves cannot contest the election of White Rajah, and their choice of White Rajah is limited to a man who is a "legitimate or illegitimate descendant of Brookes". According also to the Special Act of Manschūhōria in an unknown clause, the heirs of the Rajah of Manschūhōria must be descended through the male line and must continue according to the will of the Rajahs, this lineage can also be mixed blood with Sangunese, Yapreayan or Phinbellan aliens, or any other ethnicity, and it does not count the status of sexual orientation, the Rajah of Manschūhōria dynasty continued through Brooke's illegitimate children, nephews and grandsons. White Rajah of Manschūhōria is a head of state and also a ceremonial head of territory. The Special Act of Manschūhōria declares the White Rajah of Manschūhōria, as well as the four principal Piundangs and Tunku Besar Rusyn given the Executive Power of the territory, are Manschūhōrian religious leaders in the territory and are the source of all honor and dignity for this territory.

The main royal palace of Manschūhōria is the Sambas Imperial Palace located in Kuala Pasar, a royal city located around the colonies of Tanah Menjursu. The Anggerik Mahal Palace in Hsinhōdokián is used by the Manschūhōrian rajah as an occasional residence during official visits. Other palaces located in Hsinhōdokián include Alridjou Palace, Shrimparosiasou Palace, Inderasatwa Petal Bird Palace, and Kubang Kemuap Palace.

Before the establishment of the provisional government of Phinbella which was joined by the kingdom of Manschūhōria, slavery was widely practiced in Manschūhōria along with a type of corvée labor system, called keghah. But after Manschūhōria joined the provisional government, the slavery system was abolished and all slaves were freed unconditionally and lived freely as usual as Manschūhōria citizens. During the time of the Sikinese protectorate until the -10BPs, more than a thousand slaves from various backgrounds including from the Yapreayan, Arbors and Indian communities were brought to Manschūhōria to be used as forced labor and the slaves were usually bought by the Phineaners, Sangunese or Manschūhōrian themselves when traveling outside of Manschūhōria. Before the establishment of the Manschūhōrian Administrative Service under the second White Rajah on 16 February -23BP, there had been no formal public administration during the first White Rajah. The civil service in Manschūhōria was established to run the outlying areas of the colonies where the Manschūhōrian population was exposed and trained in many Sangunese and Western methods and cultures, while maintaining indigenous customs especially those of the Phineaner, Hondonese, Rusyn and Gogobugian communities. The civil service usually recruited Sangunese officials who lived in Manschūhōria. Each colony in Manschūhōria is governed by a Colony Resident (Phineaner: Residen Jajahan) who is the equivalent of a collectivity land officer in other Phinbellan territories, where the duty of a resident in a colony is to establish law and order, hold courts to settle disputes, punish crimes, make grants of land and may accessible at all times to local residents in each colony. The White Rajahs of Manschūhōria also encouraged the establishment of schools, health care services and transport in Manschūhōria.
