The Jingdaoese language has a complex writing system that consists of logograms, also known as characters, which represent words or phrases rather than individual sounds. There are thousands of characters in the Jingdaoese language, and mastering a significant number of them is required for basic literacy.

It can be heard among the Diaspora groups spread across Micras and is widespread in Greater Kildare, where it has been widely spoken by the majority of the population since the early 17th century. During this time, the region had become part of the Great Jing Dynasty, and the language became the dominant form of communication, replacing the various local dialects such as Audente and Dalmacijan. This helped to simplify governance and administration in the region.

However, with the incorporation of Greater Kildare into the Imperial Republic of Shireroth through the Treaty of Gaelen's Landing, the use of Jingdaoese as an administrative language was phased out in favor of Istvanistani, the Common Tongue of the empire. Although it is no longer the primary language of government, Jingdaoese remains a popular choice among the locals and is still widely used in everyday life. In fact, official documents, such as laws and decrees, are often published in both Istvanistani and Jingdaoese to ensure that all citizens can access and understand them.

Despite its decline in official status, the Jingdaoese language continues to play an important role in the cultural and social fabric of Greater Kildare. It is a testament to the region's diverse history and heritage, and its continued use reflects the enduring connection that the people of Greater Kildare have with their past. It is also one of the most spoken languages within the Imperial Republic.
