The Kagayans or Cagayans (Sangunese: カガヤン人, translit.: Kagayan-jin?, Phineaner: orang Kagayan), also known as Jama Kagayan (lit. people of Kagayan), Sama Kagayan or Bajau Kagayan, are an ethnic group originating from Kagayan de Manshūhōkoku, an island and collectivity located in the Territory and State of Manschūhōria. Kagayans are one of the ethnic groups that are part of the Sam-Wayo race which also consists of Sam-Sam (A'a Samsam) and Bajau Samah (Jomo Samah). Linguistically and culturally, the Kagayan people have a lot in common with their relatives, the Bajau Samah ethnic tribe on the Tenpasuku southern coast, so that they belong together with the Bajau Samah in the population census data, but they are quite isolated from other Sam-Wayo tribes and usually do not consider themselves as part of the Sama because of heavy influence from the Taisūg race. Kagayan de Manshūhōkoku is the largest settlement for this ethnic group as well as their place of origin, Kagayan people are also found in the city of Hsinhōdokián, as well as in several places and major cities in Oriental Hispanioéire Taemhwan such as in the Scattered Islands of the Ieu'ryïan Strait (especially in Kéijō, Bassas da Íeu'ryïan and Gaisaru Bank), Isla del Tropico and Yapreay Islands (in Charlotte Amalie, Tutu, Bonne Esperance and Telian Karenkō), in addition it is found in the Federal Special Capital Territory (mainly in Pos Appat and Pos Friedrichsthal), Gýordonz City, Høkō in Shandānø'kaí and also found in Syōnan (Cahaya Selatan) Archipelago.
