The Straits Settlements is a territory and administrative unit in Phinbella. Most of this territory is located in the Íeu'ryïan Strait and the rest of its territory is located near the Tannyeugwa Settlements which is part of the Territory of Extraterritorial Authority of the Refugee Camp and Immigrant Settlements Area. The Straits Settlements were established as part of the territory operated by the Immigrants Nah'yok Bouki and Straits Company, and these territory were separated in RP 2600 as a result of a referendum on November 20 that decided to break away from the company's control, it also formed the provisional government of the Straits Settlements and joined as part of the provisional government of Phinbella.

The Straits Settlements consist of three individual settlements of the Springwind Islands, the Boninki Islands and the Providenciales Bonin Islands. The nearby islands of Pulau Batu Penyu and Tubir Selatan were added in RP 2600 as part of the Springwind Islands settlement, Dinding Islands were added in RP 2608 as part of the settlement of the Boninki Islands.

The Straits Settlements is part of the Phinbellan Maritime Territories, an administrative unit that has been administered under the Phinbellan Department of Infrastructure, Transportation, Cities, Regional Development and Local Government, has a population of over 2,000,782 people, and its administrative center is Tamar where it is located in the Springwind Islands. The inhabitants of the Straits Settlements come from various ethnic groups such as Yapreayans, Zaipinichi Peranakans, Phineaners, Gogobugians, Ssamaritans, Jingdaoese, Hoennese and Phinbellan Indians who make up the majority of the population in these two islands. Immigration from the Nan'yōk Islands and Plazas de Irian has formed communities in the Boninki Islands only. Springwind Islanders is a term for mixed ethnic groups in the Springwind Islands, it is a mixture of Straits Yapreayan, Zaipinichi Peranakan, Greenlandic Martians, Ssamaritan, Gogobugians and Straits Jewish groups, meanwhile the majority of the population of the Boninki Islands is estimated to have a mixture of Straits Yapreyan and Straits Jews, with a large number of native Gogobugians, Phineaners, Irish and Hoennese. Some of the languages currently spoken in the territory, the majority of which use vernacular speech at home, are Springwind Islands Phineaner (based on Phineaner language) and Straits Creole (based on Common Tongue), with both Ssamaritan Taesongean and Sangunese spoken at home at 14.7 percent and Phinbellan Hokkien by 3.4 percent, while other languages spoken are only available in the Springwind Islands including Eeshan and Gogobugian languages.

The territory has 24 islands and 10 coral reefs but it is located on the boundary of the subarctic and subtropical highlands climate zones. Although both collectivitiws in this territory have many skyscrapers and public housing, as well as being an archipelago region, it is also suitable for growing vegetables and berries due to the boundary of the climate zone which both have winter. Major economic activities in the territory include agriculture, tourism and oil exploration.
