The Temple of Sakat is an ancient building, a temple dedicated to the god Sakat. The temple stands in the city of Suqutra, currently in Çakaristan.
Sakat is the Squid god of Time and patron god of historians. In it are kept many sacred and historical scrolls, and the sacred ink. For many years it was served by High Priest Andreas the Wise. Rumours that the Temple of Sakat also contains the secret history chambers of Sakat, base of the Time Revisionists, a Melangian organisation who ensure that history goes as it was meant to - rumours of that nature are entirely unconfirmed and indeed strenuously denied. There is no such thing as the Time Revisionists, and they are certainly not led by Cla'Udi.
The temple is counted among one of the Seven Wonders of Kildare.
