The 1749 Çakaristan elections were the twelfth Congressional elections since the restoration of the Çakar Empire. This is characterised by the fact that several parties that were previously represented in the Majlis al-Nuwaab have merged with other parties or no longer hold any seats. The former Soviet Socialist Party transformed itself into the Myksist Socialist Party. In the Majlis al-Shuyukh, the National Democratic Congress became the largest party for the first time. Until these elections, the United Green had always been the largest party.

Majlis al-Shuyukh

One third of the Majlis al-Shuyukh is elected every two Norton years. The term of a Shuyukh is six Norton years. A brief overview of the distribution of seats by party:
