Bhavybai (Adarani: भावीबाई; Koriya: Бхавибај) is the capital of Bulqan. Earlier, the city had the name "Grandbay". The city is located at the mouth of the Barax on the Gulf of Stephanus. The city also serves as the capital of Koriya Pokrajina. The strategic location of the city at the mouth of the Barax River in the Antican Sea makes it an industrial hub.
The city is home for Bulqan Bhavybai FC at Plavi Park. And Bhavybai University is the beacon for higher education.
Name and Symbol

The name Bhavybai is an Adarani version of the name Grandbay, which means ‘great bay’. The Çakarisation of the name was somewhat reversed by writing the name in Koriya: Бхавибај.
Due to its historical name Passerina, the bird Passerina caerulea is the symbol of the city. This bird occurs in the wild in Bulqan, but only during the breeding season. The city has a bird park where the bird can be seen. In Koriya, the bird is called Plavčence (Плавченце), which means little blue bird.
History
The city was originally founded in 1531 AN during the Antican period as Villas. In 1561 AN, the name of the city was changed to Passerina. When the Kingdom of Coria was founded, the city's name changed again, to Grandbay, and it became the capital of the nation.
During the Sylvanian National Awakening, only the military base was severely damaged. When Hasan Çakar approached the city during Mission: Shuddh Butg Par, the city surrendered. He had leaflets scattered over the city from aeroplanes to promote peacefulness. The only resistance Hasan encountered was when the Krasnocoria national anthem was played as he entered the Skupšteni, the former Krasnocorian parliament.
The city became one of the four industrial centres of Çakaristan, alongside the Adaraney-Leyl area, Manbai, and Salafuabad. The arms manufacturer Yurish Group is based in the city. Since 1722 AN, the city has formed a sister city with Kunapura, The Hexarchy.
