The 1719 Çakaristan elections were the first Shuyukh elections in the Çakar Empire. For the first time, only the Majlis al-Shuyukh was elected. With the outbreak of the Sanpo-Çakar War, a state of emergency was declared; it was later limited. As a result, elections are held for the Çakari Congress, but not for the Grand Vizier. The incumbent Grand Vizier, Dervish Çelebi, was appointed by the Shahanshah to remain in office.

Because of the war, elections could not be held in Beneluccas and Sri Pashana. This decreased the number of seats in the Majlis al-Shuyukh from 53 to 47; of which 14 seats are up for election during these elections.
