The Ministry of Rites is a ministry of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth. Before its formation under the Third Wythe Cabinet religious affairs were mostly handled by the Imperial Court.
However, by the early 18th century, the Cult of Mors had managed to dominate the Cedrist Faith. With the loss of influence over religious affairs, it was decided to create the Ministry headed by Kian Aiomide Shahnaz, Princess of Shireroth.
