Al-Khaliej (the gulf or the bay) is a governorate of the Islamic Republic of New Batavia. It's named for the bay of Patriottenbaai, New Batavia's economic capital and main seaport. It was established as a governorate in 2021 AD.
The governorate's economy consists mainly of services, finance and transport.
