Al-Ard Al-Moestasliha (reclaimed land or polder) is a governorate of the Sultanate of Kurum Ash-Sharqia. It was established as a governorate in 1695 AN of the Islamic Republic of New Batavia and seceded after a referendum in 1699 AN. A great part of the surface area of this governorate is made out of polders, reclaimed on lakes, marshes and flood plains.
