Craitabad (Arboric: كريت آباد) is a Çakari city in the Emirate of Barikalus. It is located in the taifa Jafasu.
The name Craitabad means City of Craitism. It is derived from two words: Crait and abad. Crait refers to the religion of Craitism, the official religion of the Çakar Empire, and -abad is a Babkhan suffix meaning cultivated place, indicating an inhabited place or city.
