The Alalehzamin Prefecture is an Imperial Prefecture established in 1742 AN by Kaiser Ayreon V in the aftermath of the Shiro-Benacian War.
History
Name
Alalehzamin's name derives from the Babkhi "land of the lotus flower", as the Blue and White Elwynn rivers are known for their special lotus flowers, coloured blue in the Blue Elwynn and white in the White Elwynn. The historic Babkhi-derived name of the area, Lesser Zjandaria, stems from the Babkhan province of most immigrants at that time (Greater Zjandaria). In 1546, in a decree by Duke Iskander Mirkdale, Lesser Zjandaria was severed into several counties, of which the County of Alalehzamin became the largest.
