Contrary to the general opinion in Hurmu, some fringe groups such as the Siseranist Temple of Huyenkula and the Princess Sisera Brigade claim that the list of Princes of the Lakes is incomplete. They claim that the Jingdaoese empress Sisera should also be considered a Princess of Hurmu. The mainstream view that Sisera came to Hurmu to destroy it in the Hurmu Genocide is rejected by them. Siseranist claims are usually backed by books published by scholars of the Ecclesiastical Academy of Pentapolis, like professor Zhan Pow who advocated the conquest and colonisation of Hurmu by Jingdao in the 1670s. Such claims are considered to be both distasteful and ignorant in Hurmese society.

Alsalam dispute
After the death of Jaaguzan in 1727, legal scholars in Hurmu debated who the next heir-presumptive to the new Prince among the Lakes in the Daniel line would be. Jaaguzan had fathered 12 children, five with his wife Zahra al-Osman and the rest with his concubines Delara, Timna, and Ceyda.
* Aurangzeb Hakimi bin Alsalam (1711 AN), with Zahra;
* Mahmud Hakimi bin Alsalam (1712 AN), with Delara;
* Meera Hakimi bint Alsalam (1713 AN), with Zahra;
* Akbar Hakimi bin Alsalam (1715 AN), with Timna;
* Fatima Hakimi bint Alsalam (1715 AN), with Delara;
* Daniyal Hakimi bin Alsalam (1716 AN), with Zahra;
* Bahadur Hakimi bin Alsalam (1717 AN), with Ceyda;
* Shahid Hakimi bin Alsalam (1717 AN), with Delara;
* Samira Hakimi bint Alsalam (1718 AN), with Zahra;
* Azam Hakimi bin Alsalam (1718 AN), with Timna;
* Setare Hakimi bint Alsalam (1719 AN), with Ceyda;
* Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam (1720 AN), with Zahra.
The inheritance of Aurangzeb Hakimi bin Alsalam to the position was not in dispute, because he was the oldest child born to Jaaguzan and the oldest child born in marriage between them. The question, however, was whether Mahmud or Meera would inherit the title, if Aurangzeb Hakimi died before having lawful children.
One camp favoured Meera, as she was born in lawful wedlock and was thus considered a legitimate child under the Charter for the Order of the Holy Lakes, The title Prince among the Lakes or Princess among the Lakes is vested in the most senior legitimate heir of Prince Daniel Kalirion, with preference to elder siblings and their descendants over younger siblings and their descendants. The other camp favoured Mahmud, as he was born before Meera but after Aurangzeb. The Mahmud camp pointed at the case Malfi and Hashemi v Chancellor before the Senate, which resolved in the affirmative the question "Does membership of the Order of the Holy Lakes extend to concubines of a member of the Order of the Holy Lakes (who is an inductee or is descended from an inductee)?"
This situation had never been before the Order of the Holy Lakes, but if Hurmu followed the Shirerithian method of determining seniority among legitimate descendants, it would go:
#First the legitimate descendants of the matrimonial union, in order of birth
#Then to the legitimate descendants of the first concubine, in order of birth
#Then to the legitimate descendants of the second concubine, in order of birth
#Etc.
The two camps agreed on one point, however, that the question ought to be quickly resolved by the Senate, in case of a quickly demise of Aurangzeb Hakimi.

Disputes

Simrani dispute

There is some dispute, however, with regard to the princely status of Hakim, Salome, and Sara. Daniyal ibn Daniyal Simrani-Kalirion claims that the legitimate line of Harald died out in 1685 during the end of Stormark, due to Esther Ayreon-Kalirion's marriage with Hallbjörn was annulled due to being illegal in its form (and thus descendants from it, like Noah, and through Noah, Fatima, are not legitimate). Furthermore, Daniyal ibn Daniyal contends that adoptees shall not be regarded as legitimate descendants for the purposes of primogeniture in the line of princes among the lakes, and as such Nathaniel could never had inherited the status.

Moreover, Daniyal ibn Daniyal claims the title prince among the Lakes for himself as well, thereby disputing also the princely status of Sara Avon-El. The title was claimed by his mother, Isabella Simrani-Kalirion, who had disputed the succession of Rashid Karyandzadeh to Shamil Avon-El. When Rashid Karyandzadeh died, he died also at the same time as his own son, Daniel Naelion. Daniel Naelion's wife, Noor bint Jalil, was pregnant with Daniel's son. Noor gave birth to a son, also named Daniel, two weeks after the baby Daniel's father's death. As such, Isabella contended, the succession should have passed onto Daniel Simrani-Kalirion:

 1. Rashid Andelarion
 2. Rashid Karyandzadeh
 3. Daniel Simrani-Kalirion
 4. Isabella Simrani-Kalirion
 5. Daniyal ibn Daniyal Simrani-Kalirion
 6. Lors Bakker-Kalirion (heir presumptive), legitimised son of Daniyal ibn Daniyal)
 7. Aurangzeb Tokaraizadeh al-Osman (claimant), brother of Daniyal ibn Daniyal

Thus in the view of Daniyal ibn Daniyal, there are only two princes among the lakes, himself, and Monica Oline of the line of Einhorn.

Siseranist dispute

 • Aurangzeb Hakimi bin Alsalam (1711 AN), with Zahra;
 • Mahmud Hakimi bin Alsalam (1712 AN), with Delara;
 • Meera Hakimi bint Alsalam (1713 AN), with Zahra;
 • Akbar Hakimi bin Alsalam (1715 AN), with Timna;
 • Fatima Hakimi bint Alsalam (1715 AN), with Delara;
 • Daniyal Hakimi bin Alsalam (1716 AN), with Zahra;
 • Bahadur Hakimi bin Alsalam (1717 AN), with Ceyda;
 • Shahid Hakimi bin Alsalam (1717 AN), with Delara;
 • Samira Hakimi bint Alsalam (1718 AN), with Zahra;
 • Azam Hakimi bin Alsalam (1718 AN), with Timna;
 • Setare Hakimi bint Alsalam (1719 AN), with Ceyda;
 • Rafi Hakimi bin Alsalam (1720 AN), with Zahra.

 1. First the legitimate descendants of the matrimonial union, in order of birth
 2. Then to the legitimate descendants of the first concubine, in order of birth
 3. Then to the legitimate descendants of the second concubine, in order of birth
 4. Etc.

The two camps agreed on one point, however, that the question ought to be quickly resolved by the Senate, in case of a quickly demise of Aurangzeb Hakimi.
