Meera Hakimi bint Alsalam is the second child and first daughter from the marriage of Jaaguzan (Hakim bin Alsalam) and Zahra al-Osman. She was born in the Red Fortress in Agra. The name Meera (Adarani: मीरा) means 'prosperous', a reference to her maternal grandmother.

Upbringing

Her parents' marriage contract stipulates that their second son or first daughter after he or she is off breastfeeding will be raised by the Osmanid family in Hurmu. Meera is her parents' first daughter and thus subject to this arrangement. Also, she cannot claim hereditary rights, titles and succession rights.

Since 1715 AN, Meera has been raised in the Hurmudan household of Daniyal Simranzadeh al-Osman and Isabella III Güntherdohtor Merrick, the latter of whom was a Senatrix of the Lakes for the Humanist List as of 1716 AN. Meera, herself, was elected to the Senate in 1733. She did not stand for re-election in 1745.
