Valde Einhorn is a Hurmu–Normark nobleman, prince among the Lakes (since 1717), and senator of the Lakes (since 1734).
At the age of 15, he succeeded to the title Prince among the Lakes upon the execution of a death sentence upon his father, Julian Einhorn, after Julian was found guilty of murdering two of Valde's direct ancestors (his paternal grandfather, and that grandfather's mother, Monica Oline Einhorn Likness).
Upon his succession, he was taken from his mother, Stella née Parelius, and moved, along with his ten-year-younger sister Gjevjon, to his uncle Stefan's household, so that "the children will get an Einhornist upbringing". Stella protested but was silenced. He accordingly found himself amongst the first draft of students enrolled into the Humanist Institute of Konungsheim.
At the age of sixteen, in 1719 AN, he was inducted into the 18th Vanguard Division as a "Vanguard Section Leader". Upon this appointment he was transferred to the frontline against the Confederacy of the Dispossessed after six weeks of training, mostly in the form of ideological instruction and drill. After the liberation of Dalen, moved to Hurmu to study Hurmu law and society (LLM), whereafter he enrolled into the Peace Academy to begin doctoral studies analysing the strategies employed by the parties in the 1719–1720 Hurmu civil conflict.
Pledged, under the terms of an arranged marriage, to wed Soheila Osman by no later than 1723 AN. Did so on the last day of the year, in the eleventh hour. Neither party in the couple looked happy on wedding photos. Still, they managed to produce four children:
- Haakon Einhorn (1725– )
- Margrete Einhorn (1727– )
- Olav Einhorn (1730– )
- Ulrike Einhorn (1733– )
Returned to Normark following the summons issued to all male adult members of the House of Einhorn on 19.XIII.1726 AN, his PhD studies put on halt. Appointed as brigadier to the 2nd Einhornselskapet Brigade of the 18th Vanguard Division, his duties would entail following in the wake of the Nordhaer invasion of Cerulea and oversee the liquidation of communists and leftists in the general population of the liberated areas.
Elected to the Senate in 1733. Appointed to Master of the Fyrð in the Secretariat of Tsatse Vaykok. Survived a vote of confidence in 1735 following the sinking of the Biternion.
