The Microvision Song Contest 2020 will be the seventh edition of the reorganised and rebranded contest—the twenty-first hosting overall. It will be held in Shirekeep. It is hosted and organized by Shireroth. All performances took place in the central hall of the Esagila of Raynor, which had been renovated into a convention center. The Kaiseress watched each performance in person from the Imperial Loge, and met with each group following their time on stage.
Thirty-three countries are confirmed to participate.
Entries
Entries in green have submitted their votes. Voting rules are found here. Votes must be cast before the end of 20 November.
Show
Unique so far within the Microvision Song Contest, this year's show will be in the format of podcast. All songs, however, have been released beforehand, so the show itself will not contain any music (also for licensing purposes). In the show, each participating country's entry will be commented on by the Shirerithian hosts Ric and Ed, and at the same time, the same country's top-three votes will be announced (30 points in total).
Prior to the show, the presenters will have released the lower 28 points (in segments of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 points). After the show has been released and appropriately digested, the final scoreboard will be uploaded to the wiki.
