Senya has participated in the Microvision Song Contest on five occasions. Since the competition's re-branding in 2013, Senya is one of just two nations, along with Craitland, to have participated in every edition of the contest. Senya have won the contest on three occasions and have hosted twice.
History
Senya first took part in the re-branded and re-launched 2013 edition in Bruswerpen, in which they finished last of the seven participating nations. Senya is one of just two nations, along with Craitland, to have participated in every edition of the contest since its rebranding, and have also been the most successful, winning in 2014, 2015 and 2018. Senya have hosted the competition just twice, in 2015 and 2019, both of which were held in Svorgas at Dragon Hall, but did not host in 2016, after Natopia were erroneously announced as the winners before that result could be corrected.
Despite sending a rap song in their first ever appearance, Senya has often a mix of rock or metal acts to perform at the show, reflecting the popular domestic musical tastes. Selection for the contest is usually decided by a comittee of Senyan musicians and music journalists, who aim to fairly reflect popular Senyan music trends with their selections.
The contest has something of a cult following in Senya, and is broadcasted on Senya TV.
