The Senate of Sanama is the upper house of the Sanaman parliament, the Federal Assembly. The Senate consists of nine representatives per province, elected by the people thereof. The two populated territories, the Federal Capital Territory and Highpass, are represented by two senators each, also elected by the people. The senators serve six year terms, and are elected in the same year as the president.
