National Civil Service of Sanama

The National Civil Service is the national administrative organisation for Sanama. It formally reports to the Council of State and consists of the public authorities and agencies on the union level. Some of the agencies were inherited from the Third Republic, some from the communalist government, albeit with slightly different names. The Qukalsim formally heads the National Civil Service, with day-to-day management delegated to the State Secretary for the Civil Service, the most senior civil servant in the union government. The national civil service has gone through several major reorganisations since independence, largely coinciding with change in regime.

Council of State Office
Office of the State Secretary	Office of the State Secretary for the Civil Service, supports the Secretary in the day-to-day management and coordination of the service.
Public Information Bureau	Disseminates official information and serves as a contact point for media outlets and citizens.
Office of the Inspector General	Responsible for ensuring the union government and its agencies comply with the constitution, laws and decisions of the Council of State.
Office of the Advocate General	Represents the union government in legal proceedings.
Ministry of the Treasury
National Revenue Service	Ensures that taxes and other revenue set aside and budgeted for the national government are duly collected, participates in the preparation of the national budget, and manages the public debt.
National Currency Bureau	Manages the issuance of the rilha.
Financial Institutions Bureau	Supervises financial institutions across the nation.
Budget Control Bureau	Controller for the finances and budget of the Union and promotes sound procedures for budget control.
National Revision Bureau	Evaluates and revises national government expenditure.
Patents and Registration Bureau	Registers juridical persons and manages patents.
Ministry of Justice
National Corrections Service	Responsible for processing, incarceration, and other correctional measures on the national level.
National Reconciliation Service	Responsible for handling criminal reconciliation on the national level.
National Marshal Service	Warrant and security services for the national courts.
Citizenship and Immigration Bureau	Immigration, residency and citizenship.
Civil and Human Rights Bureau	Promotes gender equality, protects and promotes civil and human rights.
Courts Administration Bureau	Services the national courts system.
Data Protection Bureau	Regulates personal data activities, promotes data security.
National Agency for Victims of Crime	Promotes the rights of victims of crime and handles public insurance claims for victims of crime as well as ensuring payment of reparation claims.
Ombudsman for Discrimination	Accepts complaints from citizens about discrimination.
Bureau of the Inquisitor-General	Responsible for national prosecutions, supervision of public agencies, and advises on national reconciliation efforts.
National Forensic Bureau	Responsible for forensic science for law enforcement.
National Elections Bureau	Conducts, manages and supervises national elections and referendums.
National Center for Criminology Research and Policy
Ombudsman for Children	Promotes the rights of children and youths based on the constitution and international treaties.

National Service Bureau	Manages the unarmed National Service for people that do not qualify for military service or who refuse armed service.

National Veterans Bureau	Responsible for issues regarding veterans, including employability, mental and physical health care, and pensions.
Defence Export Bureau	Manages and supervises the export of military materiel.
Defence Properties Administration	Manages properties for the military and other defence agencies.
National Psychological Defence Bureau	Responsible for identifying, analysing and countering foreign malign disinformation.

Economic Defence Board	Responsible for securing the economy and industrial production during crisis and war.

National Foreign Service	Staff for the diplomatic service.

National Intelligence Bureau	Foreign national security, anti-terrorism, intelligence and counter-intelligence gathering, processing and analysing for the Coucil of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, chiefly through human intelligence.

National Customs and Border Service	Enforces national legislation regarding border protection and customs.
National Security Bureau	Anti-terrorism, domestic intelligence and counter-intelligence, and state security efforts.
Emergency Management Bureau	National emergency coordination and planning.
Sanaman Union Coast Guard	Law enforcement in Sanaman territorial waters, in wartime command transfers to the Ministry of Defence.

General Inspectorate	Ensures that companies and organisations doing business, selling goods or services or in other ways are involved in the following areas in Sanama comply with legislation regarding: energy, real estate, banking and financial services, defence exports, healthcare and social care, unemployment insurance, social services insurance, chemicals, handling of sensitive personal information, nuclear safety, radiation and waste, food, drugs and medicines, accountancy, gambling and lotteries, labour standards, psychological and physical work environment, defence intelligence, national intelligence, education and schools, and veterinary medicine.
National Postal Service	The postal service for Sanama.
National Archives	Manages the archive of public documents.
Public Statistics Bureau	Responsible for national census and other statistics.
National Survey and Mapping Bureau	Coordinates, supervises and carries out surveys and mapping.
National Planning Bureau	Regulates physical planning, construction and housing.
National Employer Bureau	Employer federation for union government agencies, coordinates employer policy across the entire union government.
Sentient Species Bureau	Responsible for the protection of and communication with non-human sentient species.
Visit Sanama	Agency responsible for the promotion of Sanama as a tourism destination.
Northern Cibola Agency	Responsible for the administration of the Protectorate of Northern Cibola.
Ministry of Health and Social Services
Social Services Bureau	Coordinates social services policy on the national level.
National Health Service	Uniformed service working to assist regional and local authorities and allies abroad in public health measures.
Drugs and Narcotics Bureau	Coordinates efforts against drugs and narcotics.
Medical Products and Medicines Bureau	Regulates medical products and medicines, ensures adequate supplies.
National Centers for Medicine and Disease Prevention
Public Health Bureau	National public health and epidemic measures. Supports, develops and coordinates healthcare on the national level.

Ethical Council for Medical Research	Tries applications for research using human subjects, human tissue and biological materials.
Student Support Agency	Handles financial support for tertiary education students.
Higher Education Bureau	Coordinates and manages national standards for higher education.
National Schools Bureau	Coordinates and manages national standards for primary and secondary education.
Adult Education Bureau	Coordinates and manages national standards for adult education.
Ministry of Employment
Volunteer Labour Service	Organises and provides unemployed people with training, social contact and national pride. The programmes include service to the elderly, children, schools, hospitals and other institutions that require volunteers.
Labour Standards and Rights Bureau	Regulates and ensures compliance with national labour standards and rights across all forms of employment, ownership and organisations.
National Employment Agency	Coordinates employment efforts and connects people seeking work with employers.

Maritime Transport Bureau	Regulation and supervision of maritime transport.
National Aviation Bureau	Regulation and supervision of civilian aviation. Investigates civilian aviation incidents.
National Railway Bureau	Regulation and supervision of the national railway system. Operation of lines handled by Sanaman Public Railways.
National Telecommunications Bureau	Regulation and supervision of telecommunication.
National Public Works Bureau	Coordinates and procures national public works projects.
Road Transportation Bureau	Regulation and supervision of national roads and transport.

Consumer Products Safety Bureau	Regulates and inspects consumer products to protect the public against harm.
Sanaman Antarctic Territory Bureau	Responsible for managing the Sanaman Antarctic Territory.
National Space Bureau	Space exploration, regulation and satellite communication efforts.
National Business Bureau	Registers companies, provides business information and supports the creation of new companies.
Standards, Weights and Measurements Bureau	Representing Sanama in standards organisations and is responsible for standards, weights and measurements in Sanama.
Chemical Safety Bureau	Prevents chemical accidents, promotes chemical safety, and regulates the production of chemicals.
Electricity Safety Bureau	Regulates electrical products and power distribution.
Radiation Safety Bureau	Prevents radiation accidents, promotes radiation safety, and regulates businesses that handle radiation sources.
Economic Development Bureau	Promotes and supervises economic development across the nation.
National Innovation Bureau	Promotes, supports and encourages Sanaman innovation.

National Food Standards Bureau	Regulation of food standards and preservatives.
National Agriculture Bureau	Coordinates policy regarding agriculture, manages national support to farmers.

Wildlife and Fisheries Bureau	Coordinates and supervises the conservation and use of wildlife and fisheries resources.
Environmental Protection Bureau	Coordinates and regulates environmental standards and pollution levels.
