Military junta The military junta formed under the Council of National Reconstruction lead by Adalwolf Hiedler seized power on 12.XV.1678, thereby ending the presidency of Semisa Nakita Nur Pinito Caprici in practice. However, Nur Pinito Caprici as the only person not in house arrest attempted to organise a federal government in exile in Drak-Modan. These efforts continued up until her death on 6.II.1679. With the assassination of Adalwolf Hiedler on 12.IV.1679, the military junta came to an abrupt end. The remnants of the Council of National Reconstruction under Amalric Woehrle handed control of the federal government over to an interim government informally headed by Pjetro Campucci of the SLF. | |||||||
