Council of National Reconstruction
The Council of National Reconstruction was the formal name for the military junta that seized power in Sanama in the 1678 Sanaman coup d'etat. It was chaired by Adalwolf Hiedler and served as both the legislative and executive branches of the government, with Hiedler holding ultimate veto power over all government decisions.

Policies
The CNR subscribed to mainly liberal economic policies, moderate social policies, and a strongly conservative and authoritarian view on civil liberties and national security. A stated goal was to kickstart the Sanaman economy with liberalisation, opening up the domestic market to foreign competition and capital. In the beginning of 1679 a first step was taken when the federal government sold 20 percent of its stake in Faca to the Aldurian company Kerularios & Company.
