The 2022 Benacia Cup was the seventh tournament of the Benacia Cup, and was held in Sanama between 30 July and 13 August 2022. The eight competing national teams all qualified to be involved. The tournament's matches were played in eight stadiums in five different cities around Sanama.
The tournament was won by Craitland, for their second title, who beat Tellia in the final in Niyi.
Hosting
Sanama was chosen as the host of the tournament after submitting one of two applications. The FMF Executives agreed that the Sanaman bid was more suited for hosting than the other applicant's and it was announced that the host's national team would receive an automatic berth in the tournament, as well as the winners of the previous tournament.

Qualification
Automatic qualification
It was announced prior to the beginning of qualification that the winners of the previous tournament would be automatically given a place at the tournament. However, due to champions Sanama being awarded hosting rights, and therefore filling the criteria for both of the tournament's automatic places and the corresponding 2022 FMF Confederations Cup berths, it was decided that the 2020 runners-up, Craitland, were to also receive automatic qualification to the Benacia Cup and the FMF Confederations Cup.
