The 2023–24 Liga Mataba (also known as the IAI Super Liga Mataba due to sponsorship reasons) is the second season of the Liga Mataba, the sole professional league in Mataba. The season runs from late October and is expected to end in early April.

Mataba Sailors are the defending champions and this is the first Liga Mataba edition to introduce the usage of the VAR.

Format

The following key changes were made to the rules since the 2022 season:

  1. Players shall be allocated jersey numbers 1 to 99. Jersey number become available for allocation to new members after a player ceased to play for a club.
  2. LM clubs are now allowed to register a maximum of five foreign players with no age restrictions, of whom at least one shall be of the nationality of an AEFA Member Association. A maximum of four foreign players may be named or fielded in any one match.
  3. All grounds remain the same from the 2022–23 season.
  4. All clubs may choose to register up to two Dauian players as the player will not count as a foreign player.
  5. Teams are required to register twenty players for their squad with additions being allowed to be made later on in the season.
