The Prime Minister of Hurmu is the chief executive of all inland matters of Hurmu (foreign affairs and defence are delegated to the Senate). Since 1713, the prime minister is Patrik Djupvik (United Ayreonist–Traditionalist). His cabinet was sworn in the same year.

One house of Parlerment nominates the Prime Minister and the other house confirms. The constitutional convention is that the Assembly of Representatives nominates and the Senate confirms. If the Senate does not confirm the nomination, it is the Senate's turn to nominate a candidate that the Assembly confirms.
