Climate
Orange Free State is divided into two different climatic regions, where the southern regions (Pasir Mas, Kuala Waeng, Lady Barang, Waeng Tengah, Rouxville and parts of Hilir Waeng and Waeng Secretariat) experience a subarctic climate, and the central and northern regions (Waeng Secretariat, Coastal Kroonstad, Sungai Kaledong, Sebeghang Bethlehem, Hilir Waeng and Hulu Waeng) experience a subtropical highland climate and a coastal maritime climate. All of these climate regions are characterized by hot and humid in summer and cold and dry in winter and are affected by the Cyberian monsoon.
