The Greater Pallisican Trade Association, otherwise known as the Realm of Passio-Corum, and the Kingdom of New Zimia, is an economy-based micronation based in the Eastern hemisphere of the planet Micras. A rich nation with a well developed culture, and the continuing state to Passas, the Greater Pallisican Trade Association has attained relative notoriety during its brief existence, due primarily to the nation's strict emphasis on the economic principles outlined in the essay "A Sustainable Economy".
With a population of around 35 million, Passio-Corum lays claim to 4.86 million square kilometers of land, spread around an area of ocean equaling in total area around 73.96 million square kilometers. The government of Passio-Corum regards much of this area of ocean as being within its jurisdiction, although such claims are not recognized by the MCS.
In 36.81 PSSC Passio-Corum joined the Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union, an economic, political, and military union with the Maritime Markets of the Strait of Haifa.
Etymology
The word "Pallisica" is a variation of the word "Passas," which is derived from the language of the native kralian inhabitants of Southwestern Keltia. In contrast to the word "Passas," which roughly translates to "home of the Host Spirit," the word "Pallisica" translates to "home of the lovely Passasian."

Politics
Government
The Greater Pallisican Trade Association is a theocratic, imperial, economic union governed by the Chief Moniker of the New Zimian Temple Authority. The nation's Constitution is based on that of the Kingdom of Hamland.
The government of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association can be broadly divided into three levels:
Crown of Passio-Corum
At the top of the Pallisican government exists the Crown of Passio-Corum. This office, which is occupied by the nation's ruler, exists to approve or reject legislation supported by the Council of Courts, and to issue decrees which reflect approved legislation.
Council of Courts
The Council of Courts exists to approve or reject legislation supported by the Houses of Corum. This level of the nation's government is comprised of at least four different offices. These include the Office of the Supreme Arbiter, the Office of the Chief Justice of the Secular Court, the Office of the Chief Justice of the Temple Court, and the Office of the President of the National Bank. Other offices which have been added since the Council's establishment include the Office of the Commander of the New Zimian War League, the Office of the Duke of Northman, and the Office of the Oracle.
Legislature
The Pallisican Legislature, which is the only level of the nation's government which consists of elected officials, exists to support or reject legislation as it reflects the interests of the nation's citizenry. The legislature can be divided into two categories: The Houses of Corum, or the National Legislature, which serves to oversee legislation relating to the entire Realm of Passio-Corum, and the Houses of the Regions, of which there are many, and which serve to oversee legislation relating to the regions which each House represents. Legislation overseen by the Houses of Corum as well as the Houses of the Regions, typically relates to spending policy; the vast majority of legislative decisions relate to the possibility of expansion or reductions in investments in the nation's economy.
Political Parties
Five major political parties are represented within the Pallisican Legislature.
Military
The New Zimian War League serves as the official military force of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association. Known for a high degree of organization and innovation, the New Zimian War League is one of the world's prominent fighting forces.
In addition to its victorious campaign in the War of Jingdaoese Aggression in the mid-830's, the New Zimian War League played a role in the Conquest of Port Brent, as well as an indirect, unofficial role in the Euran War.
Foreign Affairs
The Pallisican Foreign Office is managed by the Supreme Arbiter of the Council of Courts.

For a broad understanding of the religion's teachings, one may refer to the essay entitled, "On the Pallisican Religion".

Wildlife
More than perhaps any other country in world history, Passio-Corum has always placed a considerable focus on the study of life in Corum, and across Micras. As such, the nation has cataloged more types of plants and animals than any other nation. Many of the species which have been documented since the establishment of the Kingdom of New Zimia now play an important role in the economy of the Greater Pallisican Trade Association, especially animals such as Eeli-Illt-Eda and plants like Adraso-Oname.
The government of Passio-Corum recognizes several notable wilderness areas, including but not limited to Erlo Sinders Regional Forest, and the Wood of the Gamesmen.
