The Order of Çakar is an order of merit established in 1711 AN by Jaaguzan, the Shahanshah of Çakaristan for "Long, faithful and honourable service". The Order includes members of three classes:

  • 1st class: awarded to foreign heads-of-state and high dignitaries.
  • 2nd class: awarded to statesmen with a long service record or a particular merit for the Empire.
  • 3rd class: awarded to citizens and foreigners for merits for the Empire.

The motto of the order is "Truth is the Light" (Babkhi: حقیقت نور است).

The Order

The Order of Çakar is awarded by the Shahanshah for long, faithful and honourable service for the Çakar Empire. It is granted for merit performed. Merit exists when a person has dedicated himself or herself for a long time or in a special way to the benefit of the Çakar Empire.

Insignia

There are some insignia around the order:

Medal
The medal consists of a seal with the golden crescent moon on a Çakar green background in the centre. Surrounded by a border with two oak branches and the text of the motto in Babkhi. The edge is made in the shape of a cross with imperial crowns as arms. In the space between the arms golden and blue rays are placed.

A simplified version of this medal on a chain is part of the Coat of arms of Çakaristan.

Ribbon
The ribbon is Çakar green with two gold-coloured stripes.
