Jayanti Sinha (1648 - 1747 AN) was two-term Grand Vizier of Çakaristan between 1691 AN - 1698 AN and 1704 AN - 1711 AN. She was the first elected Grand Vizier and is still the only female Grand Vizier of Çakaristan. She was married to Savyaschin Padhya (1646 – 1743 AN) with whom she had three children, fifthteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Career and legacy
She ran as the United Green's list leader in the 1691 and 1695 elections for the Majlis al-Sultina. With this, she became the first elected Grand Vizier of Çakaristan. When the Great Apollonian Empire was formed, she stepped into the background, becoming one of the advisors to the Tobu Emperor. In 1704 AN, she was asked to become Grand Vizier again. She was appointed by the Grand Assembly. She was re-elected in the 1707 elections
Her policy was known for seeking peace at the nation's borders. This allowed the focus to be placed on building the nation. During her terms in office, the Empire expanded to the border with Hurmu and Lac Glacei. Domestically, she was instrumental in establishing a solid electoral system. She was an outspoken opponent of suspending the elections for Grand Vizier, which was not a popular position at the time, but later gained more support.
Her memorial service was attended by, among others the Shahanshah, the Shahbanu, the President of Floria, Ronald Trueman Jr., and Vice-President of Floria, Rachael Halpburg.
