FC Palanka is a professional association football club based in Palanka, the capital of Rečnozemlja, a governorate of Çakaristan. Founded in 2017, the club has competed under several national football associations due to the changing political status of its home territory. Originally known as FC Bezimeni, the club adopted the nickname The No Name Team, which remains associated with its historical identity.

The club was re-established in 2021 to participate in the Hurmu Soccer League. Following the incorporation of Rečnozemlja into Çakaristan, FC Palanka joined the expanded Çakari Super League for the 2026–27 season. The club plays its home matches at Palanka City Stadium, which has a capacity of 20,532 spectators. FC Palanka is managed by Bezo Bezić.

History

FC Palanka was founded in 2017 in Palanka, then part of Srbozemska. The club originally operated under the name FC Bezimeni, meaning "The Nameless FC", and became known as The No Name Team. The unusual name reflected the club's distinctive identity within the local football community. FC Palanka developed as a representative football club of Palanka and attracted players from the city and surrounding settlements. The club established its home at Palanka City Stadium, which was constructed in 2017.

During its early years, FC Palanka participated in football competitions organised under the sporting structures of Srbozemska and its successor territories. In the inaugural 2017–18 Nohavland Football League, the club competed as FC Bezimeni. After finishing fifth in the six-team league, the club entered the playout stage but ultimately finished last (sixth) with only one point from two matches. Political developments in the region repeatedly affected the organisation of football competitions. Nevertheless, FC Palanka maintained its identity and continued to represent the city of Palanka.

In 2021, FC Palanka was re-established to enter the Hurmu Soccer League. The re-establishment marked a new chapter in the club's history following changes in the political administration of its home territory. The club retained its historical identity, including the nickname "The No Name Team". The period was characterised by the rebuilding of the senior squad and the development of the club's football organisation. In the inaugural expanded season, the club competed in the 2021 Hurmu Soccer League#Rekozemlje Championship. Finishing fourth in the ten-team table with nine wins, two draws, and seven losses, Palanka qualified for the Winter Cup. In Winter Cup Group 4, hosted by the club itself, Palanka topped the group undefeated with two wins and one draw against Kuusikymmentäviis Valboomuus, Friborn FC, and Luzhong FC, advancing to the National Championship.

In the National Championship, Palanka was drawn in Group A alongside Tyrador City FC, Vadimbaatar FC, and FC Huyenkula. The club finished third in the group with two wins, one draw, and three losses, advancing to the Round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams. There, they faced FC Kaupang and were eliminated after losing 0–4 on aggregate.

During the 2022–23 season, the regional championship was known as the 2022–23 Hurmu Soccer League#Northern Coria Championship. Palanka finished fifth in the league with six wins, five draws, and seven losses. This result qualified them for the Winter Cup, where they were drawn in Group 4, hosted by Tyrador City FC. In the Winter Cup, Palanka defeated both Tyrador City FC and Frostborg Hurmu to qualify for the National Championship. In the Round of 32, they faced White Lontinien XI FC. After a 3–3 aggregate draw, Palanka lost 4–5 on penalties, ending their campaign.

In the 2024–25 2024–25 Hurmu Soccer League#Northern Coria Championship, FC Palanka finished sixth in the league with six points (2 wins, 0 draws, 3 losses). This performance qualified them for the Winter Cup, where they were placed in Group 4 alongside Ny-Zanzibar FC, Mori Ürjüülegchid Khojinacinggha FC, and USV Béthencourt. The club failed to advance from the Winter Cup group stage, ending their campaign.

In 1756 AN, the territory of Rečnozemlja was formally incorporated into Çakaristan following the transfer of the region from the Order of the Holy Lakes. The territorial changes created new opportunities for local sporting organisations to participate in the Çakari football system. FC Palanka became one of the principal football clubs representing Rečnozemlja. Other established clubs from the governorate included FC Ravna, FC Krava and Seven Swords.

In 2026, the Çakaristan Football Federation introduced a comprehensive restructuring of professional football. The original top-tier Çakari Football League was renamed the Çakari Super League and expanded from eight to 24 clubs. FC Palanka was admitted to the expanded top division as one of the representatives of the newly incorporated Rečnozemlja governorate. The 2026–27 season marked the club's first participation in the highest division of Çakari professional football. The club entered the competition with the ambition of establishing itself among the country's leading football organisations.

Stadium

Palanka City Stadium, officially known as Palanki City Stadium, is the home ground of FC Palanka. The stadium is located in Palanka, Rečnozemlja, and has a capacity of 20,532 spectators. It was constructed in 2017 by Nohavland Construction at a cost of approximately 700 million Flamx.

The stadium features an artificial turf playing surface, an electronic scoreboard and a pitch measuring 110 by 69 metres. Palanka City Stadium has served as the principal home venue of FC Palanka since its early history.

Stadium development

The stadium was constructed during the period in which Palanka was developing its modern football infrastructure. It has continued to serve as an important sporting venue despite the political changes affecting the surrounding territory. Following the incorporation of Rečnozemlja into Çakaristan, the stadium became one of the venues associated with the expanded national professional football system.
