History
Kuriabad Steel FC was established in 2023 by local sporting organisations and representatives of the industrial workforce of Kuriabad. The founders sought to create a professional football club that represented the working-class identity of the city and provided opportunities for local footballers. The name "Steel" was adopted to reflect the club's association with metalworking and industrial production. Initially supported by contributions from local businesses and community sporting organisations, the club developed an independent football administration.
During its first years, Kuriabad Steel FC participated in local and regional football competitions. The club recruited players from Kuriabad and surrounding communities, placing particular emphasis on physical determination, defensive organisation and teamwork. Its early development was supported by a growing youth programme and the establishment of professional training arrangements.
The expansion of professional football in Çakaristan encouraged Kuriabad Steel FC to develop its sporting infrastructure. The club established Kuriabad Steelworks Stadium as its principal home venue and expanded its senior coaching staff. Investment in training facilities and youth development helped prepare the club for national league competition.
In 2026, the Çakaristan Football Federation introduced a major restructuring of the national football system. The original top-tier Çakari Football League was renamed the Çakari Super League and expanded to 24 participating clubs. Kuriabad Steel FC was admitted as one of the new clubs. The 2026–27 season marked the club's debut in the highest national division.
