The Crown Prince of Kurum Ash-Sharqia is the legal successor of the Sultan upon his demise or removal.
Appointment
The reigning sultan appoints a crown prince from within his house (article 14 of the Constitution). The Crown Council must be consulted and informed on this matter (article 10a of the Royal House Act 1702).
The traditions of the House of Al-Lusirni dictate that succession is to be done by a principle known as "agnatic seniority".
