The 1712 general election was held in Kurum Ash-Sharqia to elect the 4th session of Al-Majlis Al-Watani. The election was held on the 15th day of 1712 AN. 100 seats in Al-Majlis Al-Watani were up for election.

The Islamic People's Party remained the largest party, but lost heavily to the new Socialist Platform, of which some MP's came form the more progressive wing of the IPP. Nevertheless, the IPP holds its absolute majority. Kawthar Saleh was re-appointed to the office of Grand Vizier.

The radical Ulema Party consolidated their entry into the 3rde session and gained 1 more seat.
