1704 Kurum Ash-Sharqia general election

The 1704 general election was held in Kurum Ash-Sharqia to elect the 2nd session of Al-Majlis Al-Watani. They were held on the 22th day of 1704 AN. 100 seats in Al-Majlis Al-Watani were up for election.
The election was won by the Islamic People's Party, which strengthened its absolute majority to 63 seats. The IPP gained popularity after sanctions were imposed on Barikalus. Incumbent Grand Vizier Faisal Van Looveren lead a coalition against the Barikalus regime after the murder of the Emir in 1703 AN. The signing of the Free trade agreement between Kurum Ash-Sharqia and New Batavia was also a major bonus for the cabinet.
Faisal Van Looveren was re-appointed to the office of Grand Vizier.
