The Blankvelder family is a Kurum Ash-Sharqian family. The family joined the exiles after the restoration of the Islamic Internet Republic and settled in Oud Laar, present day Kurum Ash-Sharqia.
By marrying noblewoman Yasmina bint Rayaan Saidi, Yassin ibn Kamal Blankvelder was ennobled into the class of untitled nobility by virtue of article 5bis of the Nobility Act 1722, hence founding the noble House of Blankvelder.
