Article 1. The title of this act is: Nobility Act 1722

Article 2. This act regulates a matter as provided for in article 25, i and iii of the Constitution.

Article 3. A class of titled and untitled nobility shall be established in Kurum Ash-Sharqia. The Sultan shall be the fons honorum of this class.

Article 4. The titled nobility shall consist of:

a. Prince or Princess of Kurum Ash-Sharqia, as regulated by the Royal House Act 1702.

b. Emir

c. Sheikh

Article 5. Except for the titles of Prince and Princess of Kurum Ash-Sharqia, the Sultan shall issue letters patent for each ennoblement. The letters patent shall state at least:

a. The name of the ennobled person and if applicable, the noble title

b. The inheritance of the noble status

Article 5 bis. Unless otherwise stated in the letters patent, the lawful spouses of any ennobled person under this act, shall be ennobled into the class of untitled nobility by law.

Article 6. The letters patent shall be countersigned by a vizier as stipulated by article 24 of the Constitution. They shall be a fifth grade piece of regulation as stipulated by article 9 of the Constitution.

Article 7. The members of the noble class cannot assert any political or civil rights other than those of non-members.

Article 8. Improper use of titles of nobility shall lead to prosecution before a court of law.

Article 2. This act regulates a matter as provided for in article 25, i and iii of the Constitution.

Article 3: Article 5 bis shall be added to the Nobility Act 1722: "Unless otherwise stated in the letters patent, the lawful spouses of any ennobled person under this act, shall be ennobled into the class of untitled nobility by law."
