Mercury City, commonly referred to as City is a Mercurian football club based in the city of Mercury, which competes in the Four Nations league system. In 2010, before the Four Nations was created, Mercury competed in the Mercury League and the Mercury League Cup, defeating Bohemian Rhapsodies in the final of the cup to become national champions. It's home ground is Mercury's national stadium, the Freddie Mercury Memorial Stadium, which was partially destroyed in a terrorist attack, killing 14,924 spectators inside the ground during a charity match. On October 15th, Mercury City lost 5-4 to Dynamo Deacon, a result which relegated them to the Mercury League for the 2012 season.
