Microvision Song Contest Sancrus Music Festival |
The PyeongrangVision Popular Song Festival is an annual or biennial song competition that competes for all regions in Phineonesian realms the Order of the Holy Lakes. The format is quite similar to an international song competition, but the rules are different, the format also consists of a semi-final round which broadcast on radio only and a final round which broadcast on radio and television. After all, the finals were shown simultaneously on all local public television stations except in semi-finals which are broadcasts in radio.
History
Format
PyeongrangVision Popular Song Festival is a competition for musicians and honors composers and lyricists who have contributed to the music industry in the Order of the Holy Lakes especially in Hurmudan popular music and Phineonesian popular music (PP-pop, PhinK-pop, TC-pop and Fora pop), although musicians are mostly have a contract, but the songwriter or composer and lyricist has no contract at all with the record label. The Hurmu and Phineonesian Broadcasting Consortium recommends members of public broadcasters from any of the realms and administrative divisions to introduce musicians and songwriters to participate as well as their songs to be broadcast on radio. Each participant will be selected by a local broadcaster representing their respective administrative divisions from both countries.
In 2024, all participants from each realms will compete in the semi-finals which will be broadcast on radio (and television in Phinbella, Forajasaki, Plazas de Irian and Desaremix), each realm in Hurmu is divided into several areas or regions for one representative, meanwhile the realms of the Phineonesians are divided into several administrative units, federal regions, dependent regions and special administrative regions in Phinbella, states and autonomous regions in Forajasaki for one representative. Only one representative who gets the most points qualifies for the final round representing their respective realms.
The format on the finals is the same as the format on the Microvision Song Contest including the voting system, however there are some differences in this festival. The finals will be broadcast on all Phinbella and Forajasaki national radios and televisions, as well as through broadcasters in each administrative unit and several regional public and commercial broadcasters. The final round will take place in a selected venue in the selected host city. All finalists performed on the day of the General Assembly of the Broadcasting Consortium of the Hurmu and Phineonesian. After all the finalists finished performing, special performances from guest artists were performed according to specific themes. The other jury awarded the categories of best performance, best vocals, best lyrics and best artist. The full results of the competition were announced at the end of the finals, the top three finalists were awarded prizes. The state, entity or territory selected as the champion will be honored to host this festival for the next edition. Starting from the 2022 edition, the winner of the PyeongrangVision Song Festival will represent the Phineonesian Confederation and from the 2024 edition held at Tanah Tōnán'hyôrï, the winner of the PyeongrangVision Song Festival will be chosen to represent the Order of the Holy Lakes in Microvision Song Contest. However, due to confusion over the selection involving the Hurmudan realms, the 2024 edition was cancelled, making it a selection for the Phineonesian realms only. In the 2025 edition, the Phineonesian regional selection will qualify four songs representing the four realms each to the national selection which is also handled by the HPBC. The Phineonesian representatives will compete together with the representatives of the Hurmudan realms to qualify to represent the Order of the Holy Lakes in Microvision.
Previously, in RP 2616, a single entry from Plazas de Irian qualified for the finals of the edition, at that time it was an independent country and had joined Microvision before joining Phinbella, at that time there was no champion to represent Plazas de Irian. In the RP 2617 edition, there are two categories representing two countries respectively, Phinbella and Forajasaki, and the winner or champion of both categories will represent Phinbella and Forajasaki separately in Microvision 2021.
