As the candidate for a united center-right she stood against a fractured opposition, with the Sanaman Liberation Front, Coalition 1660 and the Green Alliance all fielding separate candidates. The Nationalist & Humanist Party declined to field a candidate, a move seen as passive support for Caprici. The Green Alliance candidate vastly outperformed his party in the Lhusan election, where they failed to reach the five percent threshold.
