In 1738 AN, the Shahanshah announced his desire to host the 2025 FMF World Cup. This announcement to host the fifteenth edition of the FMF's premier international competition was warmly received across the country. This generated all kinds of initiatives to make the bid as attractive as possible, including a series of friendly matches.

Promotion

To promote Micraswijd, a poster was created featuring the footballing elephant. But, entirely in the style of the nation, a promotional song:

Friendly matches

To further promote Çakaristan as a football nation and worthy participant in the bid, a series of friendly matches were organised with friendly nations. In addition, the international audience could get to know the country's facilities and give the organisers a taste of what it is like to organise an international event.

Background

Never before has Çakaristan hosted a major international sporting event. Nor does the country rank high in football rankings. However, football is hugely alive in the country. Every big and small city has a football club. The ten largest cities each have their own large stadium, where the Çakari Football League is played. The country is ready to take the big step to participate not just as a spectator, but as a full-fledged football player in the Micraswide world of football.

Venues

The bid includes twelve stadiums, all of which are already built and used by the respective local football clubs and the national team. Some of the stadiums will still be renovated. At the smaller stadiums, facilities will be put in place to watch the match on big screens at other nearby locations.

All but one of the cities for which the stadiums are made available can be reached by the Apollonian Express. Especially for the Cup, a ‘Cup Express’ will be organised by the Çakari National Railways. Thus, all cities but one can be reached by train. Only Metuk has to be reached by plane, for which flights will be made available from the other football cities.

In almost all cities, Farrah Hotels has a branch, where players and their crew can stay.

Television Rights

The national TV channel, Dorang TV, will obtain the broadcasting rights, making the footage available to other channels Micraswide.
