History

Schematic representation of railway lines in Çakaristan
Narrow gauge: 610 mm (2 ft) and 762 mm (2 ft 6 in)
  Standard gauge: 1,435 mm (4 ft 8 1⁄2 in)
  Dual gauge: 1,435 mm (4 ft 8 1⁄2 in) and 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in)
Broad gauge: 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in)

Prior to its creation, there was much political debate about how railroads should be run in Çakaristan. In 1698 AN, agreement was reached for the creation of a statutory body, which meant that the organization would function as a company but under the control of the Ministry of Transportation. But the formation of the Great Apollonian Empire paused its establishment, as possibly a merger with Kirudofea, the Jingdoaese railroad company. Only it did not come to that, eventually being established in 1713.

Until its founding, local and existing companies operated the railroads, such as Krasnocorian Railways, Krasnovoz, Grandbay Railways, Nuví Pelezu Railways and Krasnocoria Cargo. These companies merged into the organization.

Other companies

The organization supports the operation of the Apollonian Express in Çakaristan. In it, locomotives are made available for routes across the country. Only the rail lines in Barikalus, Jaihabar, Sri Pashana and freight transport in southern Sylfystan are run by other organizations.
